The Role: Groups & Events Manager

As our Groups & Events Manager, you will be an integral part of our Meetings & Events team, driving revenue through the successful sales and planning of events while ensuring a seamless experience for contracted group bookings. You will oversee the full sales cycle for events, from initial inquiry and conversion to contract and execution, ensuring each occasion meets the exceptional standards of Brown’s Hotel. For group bookings, your responsibility will begin post-contract, managing all operational planning to deliver a flawless guest experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Groups & Events Services Team, ensuring excellence in event sales, coordination, and execution.
• Manage corporate and private events, including private dining, social gatherings, meetings, conferences, press junkets, and weddings.
• Drive revenue by converting event inquiries into confirmed sales while exceeding agreed budget targets.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities to enhance our event offerings.
• Take full ownership of the planning process for all confirmed group bookings, ensuring a seamless guest experience from contract to departure.
• Maximise yield in line with the strategic objectives of the Meetings & Events department and the overall business goals of Brown’s Hotel.
• Ensure every event reflects the luxury and prestige of Brown’s Hotel, providing exceptional service and meticulous attention to detail.
